Electronics engineering

Electronics engineering is a form of engineering dealing with the semiconductor or vacuum tube-based devices, circuits, and the systems that use them. When asking the question: What is Electronics Engineering, it is necessary to understand that there are several fields incorporated with the overall topic. Typically an electronics engineer is specialized in one particular area.  Some of the important fields within Electronics Engineering are given here:

Analog electronics engineering:

Analog electronics is still a vast sector of electronics engineering. With many analog elements still being needed, analog circuits are still widely used. This branch of electronics engineering deals with a continuously variable signal and is widely used in radio and audio equipment along with other applications where signals are derived from analog sensors and later on converted into digital form for further processing. As we know digital circuits are considered a dominant part of today’s electronics engineering, some of the basic components in a digital system are analog in nature.

Programmable logic engineering:

This unit is mainly responsible for creating programmable logic chips for various industrial and consumer purposes. FPGAs (Field-programmable Gate Arrays), and other programmable logic integrated circuits are widely used, enabling large amounts of logic to be incorporated into programmable integrated circuits. These chips are designed with the help of high-level designing languages such as VHDL (Very High-Speed Integration Circuit Hardware Description Language), etc, and the design is brought to within manageable limits. This sector is still growing under the shade of the modern techno era.

Radio engineering:

Radio engineering deals with wireless equipment in electronic engineering. Its range has increased in the past decade because of the internet. As the internet spreads all over the world radio engineering became a prominent part of electronics engineering. Accordingly, radio frequency design is in great demand as it can provide a career opportunity for newcomers.

Digital development engineering:

Advancements in electronics engineering made most of the applications into digital form, as a result now many functions are undertaken using the digital technique. We can see the many digital circuits in our daily life inside several gadgets like mobile phones and smart watches. This engineering sector is dealing with logic-related circuits and the demand for digital development engineers alone may not be as large as anticipated the reason behind this is that most of the logic circuitry these days is accomplished with the help of programmable logic engineering.

Software system engineering:

While thinking about the software system engineer that’s not mean computer science engineering. Not really, it is a little bit different. Software system engineering deals with the sector of electronics engineering where many gadgets contain a small form of software. As of now, there is an increasing amount of software contained within electronic products these days like smart lock, smart geyser, and more.
